Kasisi Children’s Home in Lusaka was founded by the Dominican Sisters in 1926, later handing it over to the Little Servants of Mary Immaculate, a Polish Catholic order. Since then, it has grown to be the largest and best-known orphanage in Zambia. Thus, it has had many prominent visitors such as former US President Bush (picture). The home looks after more than 200 babies and children, street kids and children with HIV/AIDS. You can support by donating, sponsoring, volunteering or supporting the home’s study fund.
