Proflight has re-launched a twice-weekly Lusaka-Kalabo route with an 8-seater Cessna Caravan. The airline sees Kalabo as a gateway to Western Province for both business and leisure travellers, ideal for accessing Liuwa Plains and its wildebeest migration. Proflight has tried the route before, but had to stop it in 2014 due to low demand. Proflight already operates routes to Livingstone, Lower Zambezi National Park, Mfuwe, Ndola, Solwezi and Kasama, as well as Lilongwe in Malawi.
